Sussex County Post

about us

The Sussex County Post is the dominant weekly newspaper for all of Sussex County. With a circulation of 30,000 the newspaper is widely distributed from the coastal areas of the county from Slaughter Beach through Lewes, Rehoboth, Selbyville, Ocean View and Dagsboro; central Sussex along Rt. 113 from Milford through Milton, Georgetown, Millsboro and Oak Orchard; and Western Sussex along the Rt. 13 corridor from Greenwood through Bridgeville, Seaford, Laurel and Delmar.

From Sussex County, many major cities are within easy driving distances, including Baltimore, Washington, D.C. and Philadelphia. This easy accessibility mixed with farm, field, forest, pond, state parks, moderate weather, low taxes and excellent real estate values has become increasingly attractive to retirees, vacationers and year-round residents.
