HARRINGTON — As part of its effort to close outstanding cases, the Harrington Police Department recently released its outstanding warrant list.
“We have victims out there to these crimes and we want to apprehend these people to answer to the crime they are charged,” said Police Chief Norman Barlow.
The latest list includes 12 warrants for crimes including theft of more than $100,000, identity theft and drug charges.
“Everyone has a chance to go to court and prove their innocence, but when they ignore the warrant it makes us go the extra step to get them. We want our citizens to know that we are doing whatever we have to do to make their quality of life better,” Chief Barlow said.
Anyone that knows the whereabouts of these wanted people can anonymously call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-847-3333 or the Harrington Police Department tip line at 233-1493 or 398-4493.
“We are always striving to make a difference in a positive way in our community,” Chief Barlow said. “We serve a great community and we feel by putting this information out there it will only help us to apprehend these subjects.”
