Great Storm of March 1962

In 1962, the Delaware coast was devastated by a nor'easter, a massive storm that stalled off the coast. The coast was beaten by heavy winds through five tidal cycles.

A special section published by the Delaware State News in 1962 features 32 pages of text and photos.

The section was posted online for readers last year in observance of the 50th anniversary of the storm.

NOTE TO READERS: Copies of this section are no longer for sale.
