WOODSIDE - Polytech High School senior Rob Murrian, 18 of Dover portrays "Tevya" as he and the Polytech High School Drama Club rehearse the play "Fiddler on the Roof" and its opening number "Tradition" after school Thursday, March 15th.
Thirty-seven students are featured in the play about a Russian Jewish family being ousted along with their Jewish neighbors by the Czar’s troops. The play features Tevye’s family and the choices made by his three oldest daughters as they break with tradition.
Production dates at the Schwartz Center are Saturday, March 24, at 7:00 P.M. and Sunday, March 25, at 2:00 P.M. Tickets can be purchased ahead at the Schwartz Box Office for $8.00 a seat. All general admission tickets are $10.00 a seat.
