MILTON, Del.- A Milton woman is facing charges following accusations that she threatened to blow up H.O. Brittingham Elementary School on Mulberry Street.
Milton police said that on Friday morning, 48-year-old Lisa Thomas entered the school and began yelling offensive and abusive comments at the staff. According to police, Thomas then went outside and threatened to blow up the school.
The school was placed on a temporary lockdown and Thomas left just as police arrived. Officers located Thomas and took her into custody without incident.
Thomas was charfged with terroristic threatening/false statement and disorderly conduct. She was released on $2,500 unsecured bond. She was also issued a no contact order for the Cape Henlopen School District.
