LINCOLN - Gared Sullenger, of Lincoln, born Sept. 18, 1994, went home to God on March 2, 2012.

He was 17. Gared was a student at Milford High School and was a member of the F.F.A. and Bible

Club. Gared was a child of God who enjoyed a simple life. He loved animals and listening to the

beagles run. He loved going to Dill's Auction and Wilson's Auction. He enjoyed helping people and he

made friends everywhere he went. He will be missed greatly by all who's life he touched. He was the

beloved son of Rodney and Cindy McBroom, a wonderful brother to Alice McBroom and a proud uncle

to Lillian McBroom. He is also survived by his grandparents, John and Becky McBroom of Milford

and Willard Noble of Burlington, N.J.; aunts and uncles, Sandy Forder of Blackston, Marsha and Dave

Council of Smyrna, Kathy and Joe Malago of Dover, Linda and Kevin Donovan of Milford, and J.W.

McBroom and wife Becky of Greenwood; cousins, Patrick Donovan of Milford, Jason, Jenna and

Chase Malago of Dover, Russell, Tonilynn, Symon and Hannah Noble of Milford, Emma and Jr.

McBroom of Greenwood. Funeral Services will be noon, Friday, March 9, 2012, in the chapel of

Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front St., Milford, where friends may call after 11 a.m. Interment

will be in Bridgeville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the funeral home to

help defray funeral expenses.

Condolences and prayers go out to Gared's family.

He don't live in Milford he lived in Lincoln

And the "experts' say it's best to keep children with their peer groups.  Maybe past generations some good ideas - small schools (no crowd for the bullies to hide in), and most non-school time spent working around home & farm with their parents.

Another proud moment for the educational system.  God rest his soul and condolences to the family.
