Jody Sweeney and the Levy Court need to account for themselves on this issue.  Not one of them deserves to be re-elected based on what they have done to the animals and residents of Kent County.

That is truly amazing.  Other than saving you $600,000 a year, and contracting with a very responsive, flexible, and animal-minded group (Safe Haven) for dog control in Kent County, just WHAT do you think we should be held accountable for? Over four years, we have saved more than $7MILLION in taxpayers' money and continue to provide great service to County Residents.  

So, if I am to be held to blame for that, then so be it!

I think I've followed the SPCA thing fairly closely and, while not politically aligned with the majority of Levy Court, I can't see how it could have played out much differently without them being irresponsible to the taxpayers on this issue. The State dumped a steaming pile in our laps , thanks to the Democrat majority there in the General Assembly, and the County probably handled as best they could. If you want to stop the madness, change the General Assembly first.

Absolutely agreed!  Find in Delawre Code where I can do that and I promise to exercise that authority the next time they try. Not being legally able to say no does not make us bad.
