Copied below is a letter to the editor submitted to the Delaware State News. You can post your opinions by clicking on "Reply."
For those of you in the 32nd [State Representative District] who haven’t decided whom to support in the primary: Ellis Parrott is a retired law-enforcement officer, as well as judge, and has been an active member of the community for many years. Will McVay has been affiliated with Occupy, has changed party registration multiple times, has created illegitimate political parties such as the Bacon Party, has been the Kent County chair of the Libertarian Party and the vice chair of the Delaware Libertarian Party, openly supports Gary Johnson even after Mitt Romney, the only one who can defeat Obama, now has won the presidential primary. I urge 32nd RD voters to think about whom you want to send to Dover.

I wasn't just affiliated with Occupy, I was a spokesperson and a participant in the Occupy Dover organization, the organization responsible for ensuring that Dover DID have a New Year's Eve celebration and one of the Occupations to distinguish itself by not engaging in ANY criminal activity, cleaning up our site regularly, and leaving when our permits expired. We also sounded disturbingly like a TEA PARTY rally with our constant calls for a constitutional government that didn't bail out big banks at the expense of everyone else.
Gary Johnson is the only candidate offering a contrast with the present administration, I would make the argument that Gary Johnson is the only one who can defeat Obama. The Bacon Party of Delaware is also perfectly legitimate. The Statement of Organization has been filed with the Department of Elections and we are working to register a sufficient number of voters to nominate candidates for public office in 2014. You can find more information about the Bacon Party of Delaware from their Facebook Page.

I thought the responsibility was to represent the people. Thanks for educating me.

Your Responsibility would be to represesent the people who elected you for what you represent, not the party you think has the weakest candidate to run against. Man up and run on your beliefs, seems like you are just looking for a paycheck since you are currently unemployed.
