Oxygen's new reality show "Best Ink" is looking for skilled tattoo artists to star in the program.
On Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., casting directors from Bunim/Murray Productions, creators of the hit shows "The Real World" and "Keeping up with the Kardashians," will be holding an open casting call at Mad River Old City, 126 Chestnut St. in Philadelphia.
Applicants are asked to bring a recent picture of themselves (which will not be returned), photo ID, and photos of their artwork (which will be returned). The minimum age to apply is 21.
"Best Ink" will feature approximately 12 top tattoo artists as they compete for a cash prize and bragging rights. These unique artists will produce bona fide masterpieces on skin.
The permanent artwork will be created for — and on — real people in a variety of challenges to showcase the artists' talents.
Those wishing to participate who cannot attend the open casting call should email bestinkcasting@bunim-murray.com and submit their name, phone number, city, and short bio about themselves.
Emails must also include several recent photos, as well as photos showcasing their artwork — submissions without photos will not be accepted.
The subject heading of the email submission must be: "PHILADELPHIA"
