The Dover Art League invites artists for one of the first juried art shows that the league has sponsored in several years. Artists do not need to be a member to enter. The title of this summer-themed show is "Time for Art" and the league is accepting up to three pieces of art in one of four categories for the entry fee of $20.

Artwork will be accepted between June 2 and June 9 during regular business hours. The categories are 1) framed art, including watercolors, oils, and acrylic, 2) framed photography, 3) 3-D art, including pottery and sculpture, and 4) wearable art, including original jewelry and upcycled, recycled or handmade clothing. The upcycled and recycled clothing must include before and after photos for entry.

Prizes will be awarded during a Special First Day of Summer reception on June 20.
