Caesar Rodney High turned a pair of seven-run innings into a 16-2 victory over Lake Forest in Henlopen Conference softball on Friday afternoon.
Madison Harris hit two homeruns and went 3-for-3 for the Riders, who finished with 13 hits in the contest. Winning pitcher Jennifer Fischbach threw a three-hitter and added two hits at the plate.
The game was tied 1-1 before CR scored seven runs in the second. The Riders then added seven runs in the fifth as they won their second in a row.
Colby Wyatt had two hits for the Spartans.
